Garth Brooks really loves her.

On the heels of being dubbed the 2016 CMA Entertainer of the Year, the country crooner stopped to talk to E!’s Carissa Culiner about his win and his longtime wife.

“I feel really lucky,” he said. “I feel great. I have to say the band and crew—they have put in the deserving to win this.”

She may not be part of the band or crew, but Trisha Yearwood also earns Brook’s endless high praise as his partner of over a decade—both on and off the stage. “At any time I doubt myself, she reminds me. Any time I’m not feeling up for it, she reminds me. She always reminds me who I am and I am the lucky man that belongs to her,” he gushed while explaining how they keep the love alive after all this time. “With that, I think you can get through anything. [I] love our family, love our girls.”
