Road rage, according to the Oxford dictionary, is defined as ‘violent anger caused by the stress and frustration involved in driving a motor vehicle in difficult conditions.’
More than half of us say we’ve experienced road rage. I would say this number would be even higher here in Colorado! Yet, according to a new study by Lending Tree, 50% of us admit to feeling road rage.
What generation has the most road rage? That would be Gen Z – those born between 1998- 2012.
The top road rage annoyances:
- 54% of drivers are annoyed by texting while driving
- 44% of people hate slow drivers in the left lane
- 34% of people hate tailgaters
- 32% of people hate drivers who don’t use their turn signals
What would you add to this list? Maybe drivers who exit to the right from the left lane? That is one of Colorado’s favorites! 😉
