First violin performance in space includes 6 countries

It’s the first violin performance in space and it’s beautiful. SpaceX engineer and astronaut Sarah Gillis is a classically trained Violinist that performed “Rey’s Theme” from Star Wars: The Force Awakens in the Crew Dragon spacecraft on Friday September 13th.
The performance was transmitted to Earth via SpaceX’s Starlink satellite constellation and included performances with musicians from 6 different countries.
Astronaut Gillis hovered high above them in the space capsule and as she passed over the continent…the musicians from the areas joined her. Trained musicians from Haiti, Venezuela, Brazil, Sweden, Uganda and the United States joined in.
