Eddie Van Halen Gone Too Soon

This can’t be real. Eddie Van Halen and Van Halen were a part of my growing up here in CO and I am so sad. I remember taking the school bus to go skiing in Winter Park and listening to 1984. We were all singing (screaming) the lyrics of Jump at the top of our lungs. Van Halen was the 1980s. The debate over David Lee Roth vs. Sammy Haggar was yet to happen and they were the soundtrack of my youth. I’m so sad to hear this- besides being one of the greatest guitar players he was also a father and part of a family. Eddie suffered with throat cancer for the past decade. RIP Eddie.
