Eating potatoes lowers risk of death? I am going to live forever! I am 100% a starch girl!
A new study published in the Journal of Nutrition reveals that eating two potatoes a day lowers the risk of death by 12%.
Norwegian scientists studied 77,000 people over four decades. The study showed that for every 100 grams of potatoes eaten, the risk of death and heart disease decreased by 4%.
Potatoes were found to be a healthy source of vitamin C, potassium, and fiber. So now I wonder does this count when they are fried and salted to perfection?
