Downtown Denver roads will close the weekend for PrideFest

Thousands of people will gather at Civic Center this weekend for Denver’s annual Pridefest…one of the biggest in the country. It starts on Saturday ends on Sunday but some road closures are already happening. Starting today Friday Bannock Street is closed from Colfax to 13th Ave, and 14th Ave is closed from Cherokee Street to Broadway.

Colfax will be closed starting at 6pm Friday between Cherokee Street and Lincoln Street. Broadway will also be closed from 16th Street Mall to 13th Ave beginning 7pm tonite Friday. All of the road closures will be lifter Sunday at 11:59 pm.

For the parade on Sunday, Colfax Ave will be closed from Franklin Street to Lincoln Street starting at 9am. The road will reopen once the parade in done.
