Colorado DMV outage affecting in-person appointments today

Today is not the day to go to the Department of Motor Vehicles, especially if you have an appointment. Colorado’s DMV announced today that a statewide outage within the DMV is affecting all people coming in today for appointments.
The outage is said to be a technical issue, and some reports have said it has to do with the credit card payment system.
Officials from the DMV are contacting people to reschedule. Good news — the written tests are still on and don’t need to be rescheduled, according to the DMV.
The DMV has said they would be updating information on the outage via social media.
