Denver bans sugary drinks on children’s menus
Mar 27, 2024, 11:10 AM
The Denver City Council voted unanimously to ban sugary drinks from children’s menus. The vote is to help battle the obesity epidemic that America is facing. On children’s menus the options will be water or milk (dairy and non-dairy).
Parents and children can still order sugary drinks off the regular menu, but the default of the children’s menus will be changing although it won’t be enforced until July of 2025.
Denver is not the first city in the country to do this nor the first city in Colorado.
What do you think about the change?
