Colorado’s newest amphitheater gets new name before first concert.
Colorado’s newest home for live music is coming this summer on the north side of Colorado Springs, and it’s getting a new name before it even opens its doors for the first time.
The venue formally known as the “Sunset Amphitheater” will now officially be known as the “Ford Amphitheater.”
The Ford Amphitheater is an 8,000-capacity venue that is set to open on Friday, Aug. 9 with a concert from One Republic. The band will perform on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Other shows you may be interested in are: The Beach Boys, Lauren Daigle, John Fogerty, Dierks Bentley, Jim Gaffigan, Pentatonix, Barenaked Ladies, For King + Country and more.
The venue is 1 hour from downtown Denver and 30 minutes from Castle Rock to put in in perspective.
