Late one night in June, after a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, workers reported a strange object illuminating the sky for 30 seconds before disappearing. It definitely wasn’t an airplane or shooting star — many people were convinced that it was a massive UFO, measuring three stories in length.
According to a report from the National UFO Reporting Center, an person who said they were an employee at Red Rocks stated that numerous workers witnessed a UFO in the sky in mid-June. The report mentioned that on June 5, around 1 a.m., the employee and a group of people saw what appeared to be a “large disc-shaped craft with three levels of windows.”
One of the coworkers was the first to notice it and exclaimed to the group, “Hey, what’s that over there? It looks like a spaceship,” as stated in the report. Approximately twelve others also observed the craft silently hovering about half a mile north of Red Rocks. It resembled a metallic aircraft several hundred feet long, comparable to a three-story office building.
However, as more people started to notice the UFO, the report mentioned that the craft tilted and gradually faded away, eventually vanishing into thin air. Although the reporting center serves as a platform for users to share their mysterious stories and document sightings while attempting to verify the authenticity of the accounts, there are no photographs to confirm this incident. Additionally, no government agencies or the amphitheater have confirmed any details from the report.
Interestingly, Colorado has a significant number of reported UFO sightings in the United States, ranging from triangular objects to formations of lights. This recent report from Red Rocks adds to the growing list of sightings in the state.
