In 1876, Colorado became known as the Centennial State because it became a state one hundred years after the United States became a nation. It is the return of Celebrate Colorado, a week-long, statewide celebration of everything Colorado. Now through August 4, Celebrate Colorado is a great opportunity to come together and show support for local businesses and community organizations.

Highlights include free admission to all state parks on Monday, discounted admission to the Denver Zoo, Denver Nature and Science Museum’s “Orcas: Our Shared Future,” Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, Exploration of Flight at Centennial Airport, along with farmers markets, state fairs, rodeos and free concerts series across the states, and much more.
