Having a private helicopter may seem excessive, but Blake Shelton swears he uses it all the time. In a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Shelton confirmed that yes, he does have a private helicopter, and he often takes girlfriend Gwen Stefani on elaborate dates with it. Dates that must include beverages.

“It gets a lot more use than you’d think…I don’t fly it, I don’t know how to fly it. I get someone else to, because in order to fly to be able to settle in and really enjoy it, you got to have some drinks,” Shelton explains.

Not too shabby for a good ol’ boy from Oklahoma. Though he was reluctant to admit the luxury at first, he decided to own it.
