Aurora firefighters save dog from under hood of car

By Kathie J on January 12, 2024

Freezing temperatures in Denver sent a dog seeking shelter from under the hood of a car. Thank goodness firefighters were able to save the dog after it lodged itself under the airbags of the car.

Animal Services were able to locate the dog’s microchip and owner. Everyone is okay.

PLEASE take all precautions to keep animals safe during this deep freeze. Denver Metro is expected to have wind chills well below zero for the next 90 hours beginning evening of Jan. 12th
