Apple has added an iPhone to their list of obsolete Apple products. Are you still using one of these products?
The iPhone added to the new defunct, obsolete list of Apple products is the Apple iPhone 5s. The 5s came out in September 2013 and will join the Apple click wheel iPod and the original iPad as obsolete Apple products.
So what does it mean when Apple says a product is obsolete?
According to the Silicon Valley icon, Apple discontinues all hardware services, and service providers cannot order new parts. Apple also noted that products are considered obsolete seven years after Apple stops distributing them for sale.
Thinking ahead, there are rumors of the iPhone 16 coming out September of this year.
