Alternate way to “Brine” the turkey!!

Mountain Dew Thanksgiving Turkey: Fansided claims some people are having Mountain Dew turkeys for Thanksgiving. The recipe calls for Mountain Dew to replace half of the water in a brine. Using Mountain Dew will cause the turkey’s skin to carmelize. The turkey will then have a sweet taste to its outer layer.
