Colorado Culver’s gives away $6,000 in food to first responders

While you’re debating dinner tonight or later on this weekend, keep this story in mind, and maybe chose to spend your money at Culver’s!

With wildfires affecting residents west of Loveland, Colorado, the owner of the local Culver’s restaurant, Jason Stentz, decided to offer free meals to first responders and evacuees.

The gesture, which he announced via an electronic sign outside the restaurant, resulted in them giving away around 1,000 meals worth over $6-thousand.

The decision was well-received by both the community, and the restaurant’s staff fully supported the effort despite initially being concerned about the cost.

Stentz says the response only confirmed it was the right thing to do and he plans to continue the offer for as long as necessary to support those affected by the fire.
