If you’re from the Northeast or Midwest you may not think that Colorado can compare when it comes to beautiful fall colors.

Apparently if you think this way, you are wrong.  Country Living magazine just came up with a list of the 55 best towns in the US for Fall foliage and CO has three cities on that list!

If you’re planning on your trip to the mountains to see the colors, make sure you include one of these towns.

  • Breckinridge – or Breck to the locals (#6 on the list) – PEAK time Sept. 17- October 1st
  • Estes Park – RMNP  and the area is is just gorgeous! (#35) – September 15th – Sept. 30th
  • Ridgeway – northern San Juan mountain- (#45) – September 19th – October 3rd

What is your favorite CO spot to see the fall colors??

I love our state and one of my closest favorites is Georgetown and Guanella Pass – (see above pic. )
