2 Colorado Towns Make Most Beautiful List

Travel site Trips to Discover recently came out with their Top 19 most beautiful small towns in America. Not surprising at all – 2 Colorado towns made the list.
#13 – Breckinridge
#19 – Ouray
I have been to both and I can’t imagine a more beautiful area than Ouray, but I also love the variety in Breck. Both have a beautiful backdrop of mountains, restaurants and great hiking. What I loved about Ouray is the small town charm and the San Juan Mountain backdrop. Gorgeous!! Also, the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had was at Maggies in Ouray. For pizza- check out Colorado Boy Southwest Pub.
Breck- great restaurants and lots of them! Great Thai food downtown at Bangkok Happy Bowl Thai Bistro and Sushi Bar – I know- Thai in Breck- I was surprised too! Another great dish – the Gorgonzola pasta at Sauce on the Maggie.
Another one of my faves is Salida, CO. Great river town in the mountains!
