KOSI 101 Official Rules
Contest: “Staples Lunch Break Featuring the Office Challenge
Contest Period: February 19-December 19, 2008
THE CONTEST
1. Entercom Denver, LLC (d/b/a KOSI 101) (the “Station”) will conduct an on site contest (the “Contest”) for the chance to win the following prizes:
Winners’ Prizes:
· One $100 Staples Gift Card and Easy Button Trophy for winning office (approximate value $100)
· One $25 Off Staples coupon
Gift Cards are good for products and have no expiration Dates
Coupon is valid the day of the event
2. Eligible persons (see below) can enter by logging on to www.kosi101.com and click on the Staples Lunch Break tile. Entry periods for each Contest Round are:

3. The Contest will begin on February 19, 2008 and end December 19, 2008.
4. The odds of winning depend upon the number of relay participants each month.
5. No purchase necessary to enter or win the Contest. Contest is void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and restrictions apply.
WHO CAN ENTER
6. The Contest is open to those individuals over the age of 18, who are legal Colorado residents, with the exception of full or part-time employees or interns of the Station, Entercom Denver, LLC, Entercom Communications Corp., Staples, their affiliated companies, advertising agencies, representatives, participating contest sponsors, employees of other radio stations serving the Denver MSA (as defined by Arbitron Ratings Company) and members of the immediate family of each of the above. The term "immediate family" includes spouses, parents, siblings, grandparents, children, grandchildren and cohabiting significant other.
7. Only one prize per household, per thirty (30) calendar days, on any Entercom Denver station (KALC, KOSI, KQMT, KEZW). Only one prize per household valued at $600 or more per 120 calendar days on any one Entercom Denver station (KALC, KOSI, KQMT, KEZW).
CONTEST SPECIFIC RULES
8. There will be up to eleven (11) Staples Lunch Breaks Featuring the Office Challenge. They are scheduled to take place between 12:00 PM (MT) & 2:00 PM (MT) on the following dates in 2008: February 29, March 28, April 25, May 30, June 27, July 25, August 22, September 26, October 24, November 21 and December 19 (each, a “Contest Round”). The location of each Contest Round is to be determined and will be posted on www.kosi101.com during the entry period (see below).
9. Beginning February 19, 2008 and ending February 24, 2008 at 11:59pm (MT) eligible individuals may enter the February Contest Round by registering at www.kosi101.com and entering your Company, Company Address, Name, Contact E-mail and Contact Daytime Phone Number. Individuals will complete all games alone. Incomplete registrations may be disqualified in the sole discretion of the Station.
10. The Station will select up to 8 individuals in a random drawing (Station shall have the discretion of selected a number less than 8 if less than 8 individuals to enter) from among all eligible entries received that month (the final number to be determined based on the size of location) to participate in the February Contest Round (if only 1 individual enters then there will be no Contest Round that month and they will be awarded the prize. Station personnel will call the individual selected participant son or about February 25, 2008 to inform them of their selection, inform them of the location of the Contest Round for which they were selected and confirm their attendance. Station will only be required to leave one message at the number for the individual provided in the entry form. If no answer or answering machine is reached, Station will not be obligated to attempt any further contact. However, Station reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to attempt to contact any entrant more than once and shall not be required to attempt to contact all entrants an equal number of times.
11. Beginning with the March Contest Round and for every subsequent Contest Round throughout the Contest, the entry period will begin exactly three (3) weeks prior to that month’s scheduled Contest Round date, and continue for approximately two (2) week period ending at 11:59pm on the final day of the contest entry period.

12. At the end of each entry period, the Station will select the participating individuals in the manner described in the immediately preceding paragraph. Selected individuals will be informed of their selection approximately one (1) week prior to the scheduled Contest Round and must comply in order to participate. Late arrivals will be disqualified. Eligible individuals will have complete registration entrees with Company, Company Address, Name, Contact E-mail and Contact Daytime Phone Number. Each individual must sign a Staples Affidavit of Eligibility, Compliance and Release and a Station participation waiver and release, prior to participating.
13. In the event of a cancellation by a participating individual, Station may choose to select a spectator individual (by random drawing from among all complete individuals at the location) to participate in the Contest. In the event that only one (1) individual timely registers on the day of the Contest Round, they will automatically be declared the wining individual and the Relay Games (as described below) will not take place. Likewise, if no individual registers there will be no winner and no prizes awarded for that particular Contest Round.
14. Contest Rounds will take place as follows: individuals will compete in relay-style event games. Each individual must complete his or her game/task before the next game can start. Relays will be timed with a stopwatch. Games must be completed in correct order. One (1) individual will compete at a time. The individual to complete all games in the least amount of time will be determined the winner (the “Winner”).
15. Relay Games:
GAME 1 – Easy Button Mini Golf: There will be a putting green with obstacles. Player has to get a hole in one into the Easy Button Hole. GAME 1 will continue until Player makes the hole in one, or has had ten (10) attempts, whichever is sooner.
GAME 2 – Puzzle: Player will be given puzzle pieces and must complete the puzzle. If Player is unable to complete the puzzle or ceases trying (as determined in the sole discretion of the Station), the individual or team will receive a one (1) minute penalty to be added to the team’s overall time, in addition to any time already taken by Player to complete the puzzle.
GAME 3 – Price Match: Player will be shown two (2) products with a price assigned to it. The player must corectly determine if the actual retail price is higher or lower than the price assigned.
GAME 4 – Scavenger Hunt: Player will be given a list to find three (3) products in the store. A notebook, a binder and a three hole punch. The player will have to WALK to find the items and return them to the designated sales person who will help the player assemble the binder.
16. An individual may compete only one time through the duration of the Contest. Each individual must sign a Staples Affidavit of Eligibility, Compliance and Release and a Station participation waiver and release, prior to participating.
17. All entries not selected for a Contest Round will be deleted after such round and WILL NOT carry over to any subsequent Contest Round. The Station reserves the right to change the dates of the Contest without further notice and to determine the time(s) of day that a Contest Round will be played.
GENERAL RULES
18. Prizes will be released to Winners only. Each individual is required to present a valid government photo ID and social security card in order to receive any prize, sign a release and any other paperwork required by the Station for awarding this prize. All Winners are required to sign a Release. Any Winner’s failure to execute the required release(s) and to provide a social security/tax ID number will result in the forfeiture of any prize that may have been won during the Contest.
19. Any Winner who has not claimed their prize, and filled out and signed the required paperwork set forth above within thirty (30) days from the date of receiving a phone call stating that their prize is available for pick up shall forfeit any prize won during the Contest at the sole discretion of Station management. Station will only be required to leave one message at the number for the team representative provided in the entry form for the team representative. If no answer or answering machine is reached, Station will not be obligated to attempt any further contact. However, Station reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to attempt to contact any entrant more than once and shall not be required to attempt to contact all entrants an equal number of times. All forfeited prizes shall remain the sole property of Station.
20. Winners will be solely responsible for the payment of any expenses and taxes associated with receipt of their prize and may receive a 1099 form from Entercom Denver, LLC for total prizes won in excess of $600.
21. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash; provided that Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value (including a cash payment) for any Prize.
22. By participating in the Contest, each Winner consents to the Station and its affiliates, employees, agents and all other related sponsors using for advertising and/or other promotional purposes, without additional compensation, such Winner’s, image, voice, biographical information, and/or his or her participation in the Contest on radio or TV broadcasts, newspaper advertisements and/or any other medium. Each Winner agrees that no additional compensation will be paid for such usage.
23. By participating in this Contest, each participant gives permission and consents to Station’s recording and/or broadcasting such participant’s name, voice, participation in the Contest, and the substance of any Contest-related telephone call. Each participant agrees that no additional compensation will be paid for such usage.
24. By participating in this Contest, all contestants agree to waive any claim of liability against Station, Entercom Denver, LLC, their affiliates and their respective employees and agents from and against all losses, damages, penalties, claims, actions, property damage, personal injury or death which may occur from participation in the Contest, or from use of the prize.
25. Official rules may be obtained by sending a self addressed, stamped, letter sized envelope to KOSI 101 Staples Lunch Break Featuring the Office Challenge, 4700 S. Syracuse, Suite 1050, Denver, CO 80237 or on the internet at www.KOSI101.com. Rules are also available for inspection at the above address during normal business hours.
26. Station management shall be the sole judges of the Contest, and their decisions shall be final as to all matters. Station reserves the right to modify the Contest rules, dates, and/or manner/method of entry at any time for any reason. Any change to the Contest rules, dates, and/or manner/method of entry shall be announced on-air, where practical. Station reserves the right to stop or change the Contest at time for any reason.
27. Name of Winners will be available after each Contest Round concludes by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to 4700 S. Syracuse, Suite 1050, Denver, CO 80237 c/o “Staples Lunch Break Featuring the Office Challenge.” Requests for Winner’s name must be made prior to April 19, 2009.
