This is my Favorite recipe. You will want to double this batch of cookies because you will run out fast. My mom made these for Christmas each year. Very found memories.
Ingredients:
1 Cup Butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Directions:
Cream butter gradually add sugar. Beat thoroughly add egg & vanilla. Sift flour, salt, & soda. Add gradually to cream mixture. Divide dough into six parts. Add chocolate to one, coconut to another, raisins, nuts to another, cherries, cinnamon & nutmeg. Then roll dough into log shape wrap in wax paper, put in freezer till ready to bake. Slice in to small cookies. Have oven preheated at 350 degrees. Place on parchment paper cookie sheet. Bake 8 or 9 min.
